Mindfulness Training Purpose
The purpose of mindfulness training is to teach executives and corporate leaders working in stressful, high-performance environments how to use mindfulness practices to provide access to an immediate sense of calm and centeredness in the midst of difficult situations. Clients feel a greater self-awareness, improve their concentration and focus, and learn how to work with interfering negative, distracted forms of thinking and reactivity.
This training utilizes the practical skills of mindfulness – the essential ability to be present, self aware and cognizant of one’s environment or situation, as a core learning principle. Though we all have the capacity to be aware, normally our attention is scattered, distracted, or simply unfocused due to the business and complexity of demands at work and in our personal lives. By training the mind, we can cultivate and develop this capacity so we can sustain focus and attention and sharpen our clarity and perception.
